REFLECTION...

In studying our Adobe Photoshop in ICT IV, I learned a lot in editing pictures and on how to make it more attractive. Adobe Photoshop is an application wherein you can edit photos. Studying about this is so very fun and artistic because  you can do and apply what you want in the photo. There are many ways on how to edit the photo i the Adobe Photoshop and there are also many parts of it. As a beginner, I always commit mistakes because I dont know the use of the some parts sometimes. But I always check it and ask the permission of my ICT teacher so that she can help me in making it perfect.

I will Apply this in my daily life by sharing my knowledge about it and by teaching them on how to use Adobe Photoshop.

Everyone of us has a dream in the future. We has our own plan in our future that's why were studying well so that we can achieve our dreams in life. Achieving our dreams in life is not easy because we must face many challenges that makes our self more stronger.

I am a student and I have many dreams in life like to finish my studies, to have a stable and permanent job, to become a successful engineer, to uplift my family from poverty, to earn money, to go out of the country and have some tour, to have a healthy and happy family, to passed in my board, to renovate our own house, to build ant to have my own house and most of all, to have a better life. :) I want to achieve all of this that's why I'm preparing well for m future. I'm studying well so that I can achieve my dreams in life. I'm earning money so that I can need this in poverty. I'm avoiding myself from being mad so that I will not disturb myself in studying and I will always pray so that God will always be there for me.

I will always think positive so that I can achieve all my dreams and I will be more stronger in facing those challenges in my life.

It Starts With ME :)

Change starts with ME… 

Decide today, to be that change I wish to see.

Come from a place of love, compassion, unity, empowerment. Helping others become the best version of themselves. If one person can impact and cause CHANGE in our lives.

I as a teenager and a residence of this community, I'm always looking for a better change and a better world that's why I volunteered myself as a model to all people. I know that I'm not totally perfect because God created us fair and we are all imperfect. He let me in this world just to become a good citizen and to develop this country. I'm a person that is craving for a better change that's why I'm here to be a good model to us. I'm doing all my responsibilities as a student and a citizen. I know that I commit mistakes but that is just a challenge and I believe that mistakes can turn to perfect.

In this world, I'm living Young, Wild & Free that's why I can do anything what i want but all I want have a limitation. In my 15 years of existence, I always looking for a change, change that all will be happy. There will be peace, love and hope. And I'm looking also for a change of our environment wherein there will no pollution at all but how will avoid this activities when some people are irresponsible? I'm looking also for a change of our government wherein there will be no corruption and all will be fair. I'm looking also for a change of our community wherein there will be no broken family. But how will all this be possible if each of us don't want any changes in this world? That's why I will be the one to start a better change, a better world and a better me. I will be a good leader to us and I will do all my duties to conduct good moral activities. I will let them think that "EVERYTHING HAS CHANGED!"

Kannawidan Ylocos Festival!

The province of Ilocos Sur has recently celebrated its Kannawidan Ylocos Festival. This year marks the province’s 193rd year based on the Royal Decree dated February 2, 1818 separating Ilocos Sur from Ilocos Norte. Prior to this date, the stretch of Bangui in Ilocos Norte down to Luna La Union is called Ylocos which is a term to refer to the coastal inhabitants. It literally meant “from the lowlands”. Ilocos Sur especially Vigan is branded as the Heart of Ilocandia by the Philippine Historical Committee. It’s a province very rich in culture and heritage. Kannawidan means traditions and this province got to showcase all what she has. 

On January 29 to February 9, 2014 several activities were lined up for the celebration.There was the tribal performance of the cultural communities of Ilocos Sur which is so fascinating. They displayed their talents as well as their indigenous costumes. Trade Fair showcased the products of the province such as longanisa, bagnet, garlic, bibingka, tinubong and many other foods including handicrafts. Traditional games were played and bingo as well. There were Komedya Ilocana which were shown. Choir competition was also held. There were also some artists who where given a chance to become a special guest and they make the audience happy. There were also a drag race where there are many people who joined and watched the said race. There were also a Carnaval where we can play some rides like carousel, perish wheel and many more. A battle of brains and beauty was witnessed during the Saniata ti Ilocos Sur pageant and Ms. Caoayan got the crowd. Art exhibitions and competitions were also conducted. 

It was a fun-filled week of celebration of the Kannawidan Festival in Ilocos Sur.

New Year, New Me...

Every time that New Year's come, there's always this word "New Year, New Me" that somebody wants to change themselves to a new one because maybe they want to make themselves better than before.

As I remembering my past 2013 life, it seems that its nice and its very challenging because of the challenges that i had been faced. I meet many friends and that's the reason why I'm a friendly girl now. i became more satisfied of what I had. I'm happy and contented of my 2013 journey. Now that its already 2014, the year of the wooden horse, I want to change same of my bad attitude like being a "snobera", being childish, lazy and for being mad. I want to be more fashionable and friendly. I want to be more active in class especially when I'm in my college life because college life is more harder than high school life. I want to become more friendly because I want some companions in my college life so that it will not be boring and I don't want to be alone. I will be more serious in my studies because its my time to start for my better future. I want to be me and I want to become more stronger so that I can face my problems easily. I will be more spiritual so that God will never leave me and so that He will continue giving blessings to me and so that He will guide me always.

I will always believe in myself that I will be a better person this year and I will be more good in doing all things. I will keep on trusting to myself and to God also.

3rd Grading Period......

My Reflection

In our 2 months of discussing and studying ICT IV in the 3rd grading, we tackled about tags, on how to use the tags on the notepad, how to determine what tag to put and what are the parts and uses of Windows Movie Maker. Discussing these topics is difficult to understand if you dont know how to put the tags properly. We face also some errors becauce of the wrong tags that we place but I always correct those errors before I save it.

I will apply these knowledge in my daily life by using it properly especially in the notepad and by sharing my knowledge about this to my friends, relatives and to my family.

 

Equal Rights, Equal Opportunities....

 In order to build a great democratic, just, fair and humane society, it is of utmost importance to arouse the broad masses of our people to join the struggle that will ensure "equal rights, equal opportunities." Genuine equality between women and men, girls and boys can only be realized in the process of a just, fair and humane transformation of our society as a whole.

It is a stipulation that all people should be treated similarly, unhampered by artificial barriers or prejudices or preferences, except when particular distinctions can be explicitly justified. It turns out that advancing equal opportunity and economic empowerment is both morally right and good economics, because discrimination, poverty and ignorance restrict growth, while investments in education, infrastructure and scientific and technological research increase it, creating more good jobs and new wealth for all of us.
